I'm interested in exploring new ways to communicate news online by taking the strengths of old media and traditional journalism and applying those learnings to new media in new ways. I enjoy helping to build new online media products through consulting, blogging, editing, video production, and writing. I'm also interested in writing and editing opportunities.

After beginning work with Crowd Fusion on contract as Social Media Evangelist in September 2008, I was brought on full time to work with the management team as Director of Content Marketing in November 2008. At Crowd Fusion, we're working to build a publication platform that addresses the pain points of online publishing at scale. I also work as one of the Editors on one of our showcase sites, Obsessable.com.

My poem, "oldblackman," was published in the 1996 edition of Sigma Tau Delta's International Literary publication, The Rectangle and in Illinois State University's 1997 edition of Druid's Cave. In college, "Unspoken", a short story and "life," a poem were both published in the 1994 edition of The Arrowhead, Mississippi College's literary magazine, and "The Argument," another short story, appeared in the 1995 edition of The Arrowhead.
